Short answer: No. Shroud protects a creature from being the target of ANY spells or abilities, and that includes auras. You can't attach an aura to something with shroud directly from your hand because shroud blocks it.

Nope, auras can't get around shroud in Magic The Gathering. Shroud is like a magical 'No Trespassing' sign that prevents any cards, including auras, from being attached to or targeting the creature. So, if you're trying to buff up your creature with a cool aura but it has shroud, it's a no-go.

Absolutely not. Tried it once during a game thinking I was being clever. Turns out, shroud is a big, fat barrier that says 'Keep Out!' to anything trying to attach or target the creature. Learned that the hard way.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
