Actually, when you copy a legendary card in Magic The Gathering, it doesn't matter which one was there first. If you've got two legends with the same name on the battlefield, you gotta send one to the graveyard because of the 'legend rule'. So, it's not about killing the original; it's about keeping your battlefield legal.

The legend rule is outdated. Copies should totally be able to coexist with the original. More fun that way.

Nope, copies of legendary cards don't exactly 'kill' the original in MTG. What happens is if you control two or more legendary cards with the same name, the 'legend rule' kicks in. This means you choose one of those legendary cards to keep on the battlefield and the rest go to the graveyard. It's not about the copy versus the original; it's about not having two of the same legendary names chilling on your side of the field!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
