Copy tokens are your best friend in MTG! They copy everything about the creature - abilities, color, even the name. But they won't copy stuff like enchantments or equipment attached to the original. So, if you're cloning a creature loaded with auras or equipment, you'll need to find another way to beef up your token.

Absolutely, copy tokens in MTG do get the abilities of whatever they're copying. So, if you use a spell or ability to create a copy of a creature, that copy will have all the abilities of the original creature at the time it was copied. This includes any static abilities, triggered abilities, and activated abilities. However, remember it doesn't copy counters on the creature or any temporary effects affecting it at the moment of the copy.

Nope, copied tokens are just bland creatures. They look like whatever they copied, but that鈥檚 it.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
