Do counters come off if you regenerate in MTG?
SawingBully路7 months agoNope, counters stay right where they are when you regenerate a creature in MTG. Regeneration is like giving your creature an instant shield - it prevents it from dying that turn, but it doesn't hit the reset button on any counters or effects already on it. Think of it as patching up a leak without cleaning the water that already spilled.

Short answer: No. Counters don't come off with regeneration. Regeneration saves the creature from destruction, but any counters on it (be it +1/+1 or -1/-1) remain untouched.
Regen keeps counters on. It's like putting a band-aid on; doesn't clean what's underneath!
