Do creatures in MTG regenerate damage?
DebiasingPons路7 months agoNope, damage sticks to creatures until the turn ends. Only special abilities or spells can 'regenerate' them before that.

In MTG, creatures don't automatically regenerate damage. At the end of each turn, any damage dealt to creatures is removed, so it's like they heal up for the next round. However, some cards specifically say a creature can 'regenerate,' meaning if it would be destroyed, it isn't and instead gets to stick around with all damage removed. But remember, regenerating is an ability or effect, not the default!
Gotta chime in here! Had a match where my buddy thought his creatures would keep damage like in other games. Nope, MTG isn't that cruel. Damage resets at end of turn, but regenerate abilities are a lifesaver. Literally saved my hide in a tournament once!
