Do enchantments stay on a creature with a blink effect in MTG?

Nope, when a creature blinks (exiles and then returns to the battlefield), it comes back as a new object with no memory of its previous existence. This means any enchantments, counters, or equipment that were on it before it blinked are removed, not reattached when it re-enters the battlefield. Think of it as hitting the reset button on the creature!

Short answer: No. When a creature blinks, it's considered a fresh version of itself on the battlefield, so everything previously attached gets detached.

Actually, blinking creatures is a sneaky way to get rid of pesky enchantments your opponents might have thrown on your creatures. So, not only do they NOT stay on, but you actually get a clean slate!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
