Nope, EX Pokemon cards don't have glossy backs. Like all official Pokemon TCG cards, the backs have a standard matte finish with that iconic blue and white Pokeball design. Don’t get fooled by shiny backs; that might be a sign of a counterfeit!

Glossy back? Nah, that's not how legit EX cards roll. They stick to the classic matte like the rest of the gang. Got a shiny back? Might want to check that card's real deal status, buddy.

Actually, no. All genuine Pokémon TCG cards, including EX, have a matte finish on the back. If it's glossy, double-check its authenticity ‘cause it might be a fake.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
