Yep, flip effects trigger at instant speed! This means you can totally flip your card during your opponent's turn, right when they least expect it. Keep in mind, though, that the flip has to be triggered by whatever condition is outlined on the card. So, while you can't just flip at will, if the stars align and the conditions are met, you can make some pretty slick moves on your opponent's turn.

Actually, not all flip effects are instant-speed in MTG. Some require specific conditions to be met and only activate under those conditions, which might not always align with being able to act at instant speed. It really depends on the card, so always read the fine print!

Flip effects are the coolest! Used one during a big tournament and totally caught my opponent off guard. It's all about timing and knowing your cards well.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
