Why use GIFs when you can use Boomerangs? Instagram's the best for short, looping videos anyway.
You can add GIF stickers to your Stories using Instagram's built-in GIPHY integration. Use the stickers and have fun!
From my experience, uploading a GIF directly never works. Convert to video first and you're golden.
