Nope, heavy bullets don't slow you down in Apex Legends. What actually slows you down is getting hit by them, not the ones you carry. So, pack as many as you like and you'll still sprint around like you're in the Olympics!

Contrary to popular belief, carrying heavy bullets doesn't impact your speed at all. It's all about the hits you take, not what you carry.

This idea is a big misconception! Heavy ammo in your backpack doesn't affect your speed. However, taking damage from an enemy's heavy ammo will slow you for a brief moment.

Absolutely not. Your running speed is unaffected by what type of ammo you have. Still, getting hit, especially by heavy ammo shots, will slow you down temporarily. Keep that in mind during your next firefight!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
