Nope, opening packs in MTG Arena doesn't directly award you gems. Gems are primarily obtained by purchasing them in the store, or through certain in-game rewards like competing in drafts or events that offer gems as prizes. But hey, you do get wildcards from packs, which can be pretty valuable for building your decks!

Actually, you won't find gems in regular booster packs. Gems are more about the currency side of things in MTG Arena, so you'd need to look at events, the store, or special promotions to get your hands on them.

Short answer: No. Gems are not a prize from opening booster packs. You'll need to dive into events and challenges that reward gems directly.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
