Whether you've got rare Pokemon cards really depends on a few things! Look for symbols on the cards like stars or special holographic finishes — those usually mean rarity. Some cards have unique artwork or are part of limited editions, which can also up their rare factor. But the real test? Check out how much they're going for on the online market or get them appraised by a knowledgeable collector. Rarity isn't just about what the card looks like, but also about how sought after it is!

Honestly, just because a card looks cool doesn't mean it's rare. Got any first editions? Now those could be worth talking about.

Just flip those bad boys over and look for a star symbol at the bottom right. No stars, no rare. Easy peasy.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
