Nope, you don't need a target to sacrifice Seal in Magic The Gathering. Seals are a bunch of enchantments that you can sacrifice at any time to get their effect, even if their effect doesn’t change anything on the board. So, if you just want to trigger abilities that activate when you sacrifice something or just feel like it's time, go ahead!

Actually, it depends on the specific Seal you're talking about. Most Seals, like Seal of Fire or Seal of Removal, don't require a target to be sacrificed. You can pop 'em whenever you want to trigger their effects or other synergies in your deck.

Just want to add - not only do you not need a target, but sacrificing Seals at the right moment can be a strategic move to surprise your opponent. Timing is everything!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
