If you want to play Cold War online, then yeah, you need PlayStation Plus. No Plus, no pew-pew with friends.

Only for multiplayer. Otherwise, you're good to go offline!

Yes, you need PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. But you can still play the single-player campaign and Zombies mode offline!

I've been playing Cold War, and you definitely need PS Plus for multiplayer. Single-player and Zombies don't require it though!
