Well, actually, if you're cool with Steam, you can totally bypass Origin and jump straight into Apex Legends that way. Added bonus: You keep your game library in one place!

Nope, you don't NEED Origin if you're team Steam. Got my whole squad to switch over and it's been smooth sailing.

Origin? More like optional. Steam's got your back for Apex, and it's all the same in the arena.

Yep, you gotta fire up Origin to play Apex Legends if you're on PC. It's like the front door key to your digital battleground. Since Apex is an EA game, Origin acts as the launcher that gets you into the action. So, make sure it's installed and updated!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
