Nope! You just need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to access the games. Xbox Live isn't required for Game Pass itself, but you'll need it for online multiplayer.

As someone who uses both, I can confirm you only need Xbox Live Gold for online multiplayer. Game Pass alone works fine for single-player games and downloading titles.

Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold are separate subscriptions. You don't need Xbox Live to play Game Pass games offline.
