Watch Soul Eater first. It sets the stage and introduces you to the main plot. Then, if you're craving more, dive into Soul Eater Not for some extra background.

Soul Eater first, then Soul Eater Not. It's like saving the side salad for after the main course โ€“ extra, but not necessary to enjoy the meal!

Doesn't really matter, but I started with Soul Eater and it made Soul Eater Not more enjoyable!

Start with Soul Eater! It's the main series, and you'll get a better feel for the world and characters. Soul Eater Not is more of a spin-off and prequel, so it's best appreciated once you know the original story.

If you're a Soul Eater fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
