Yep, I worked in a correctional facility and saw inmates playing Words with Friends on their tablets. Helps pass the time and keeps the brain sharp!
It depends on the facility. Some prisons provide limited internet access, so inmates who have privileges might get to play. But don't count on seeing them on the leaderboards!
I wouldn鈥檛 be surprised. Where there's a will to play Words with Friends, there's usually a way.
Believe it or not, some do! If they have access to tablets or inmates' communication systems, they might just be swapping words with the best of 'em.
