Devotion counts colored mana symbols in the mana costs of permanents you've got on the battlefield. Since most lands have no mana cost or symbols in their cost, they don't add to your devotion.

Nope, lands don't count towards devotion in MTG. Devotion checks for mana symbols in the mana costs of permanents you control. Lands typically don't have mana costs, so they don't contribute to devotion.

Lands? For devotion? Nah, that's not how it works. Devotion's all about mana symbols on non-land cards.

Actually, that's a hard no. Lands are chill for mana, but they won't beef up your devotion. Devotion's all about those mana symbols in costs, and lands just sit this dance out.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
