Yep, most Magic The Gathering events have an entry fee, depending on what kind of event it is. Drafts and sealed tournaments usually cost more because you're getting fresh packs to build your deck. Constructed events might be cheaper since you bring your own deck. The price can vary a lot based on the venue or the prizes offered. Always worth it for the fun and the community vibe though!

Not all of them! Some local game stores do free play events or casual meet-ups that won't cost you a dime. Great way to learn and meet other players without the pressure of competition.

Honestly, yes, but think of it as investing in a good time. Plus, winning can get you some sweet prizes which can offset the cost. Just budget wisely!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
