Nope, regular booster packs don't usually have codes for Magic Online. Codes in physical packs are primarily for MTG Arena, not the same as Magic Online. MTGO operates differently, with its own system for digital cards.

Yeah, so if you're talking about Magic The Gathering Arena, some physical packs do indeed come with a code you can redeem for digital packs or other goodies in the Arena. Not all types of packs offer this perk, though. It's mainly found in products like Planeswalker decks and some special promotional packs. Be sure to check the packaging if that's what you're after!

Got codes from a prerelease pack once, can confirm they're for Arena, not Magic Online. Good deal if you play both paper and digital.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
