Absolutely not! MTG prerelease kits don't specifically have a higher mythic drop rate compared to regular booster packs. What makes them seem special is the excitement and the exclusive atmosphere of a prerelease event where every rare or mythic feels like a treasure. Randomness is still the name of the game, though!

Can confirm from firsthand experience, I've opened more prerelease kits than I care to admit and the mythic drop rate feels the same as booster packs. It's all about the RNG gods.

Nah, it's all luck of the draw. Think of it this way: opening a prerelease kit is like fishing. Sometimes you catch a big one (mythic), sometimes you don't. The odds don't change, but the thrill of the catch is what's different.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
