Absolutely! Opening MTG packs is like Christmas morning. You never know if you're going to pull a super rare card that's both a powerhouse in gameplay and worth a pretty penny. Plus, the smell of fresh cards is unbeatable. There's a real thrill in the surprise of what you'll find inside each pack.

Nah, keep 'em sealed. If you've got packs from a sought-after set, they might be worth more unopened in the long run. It's a gamble, but if you're more of a collector than a player, sealed is the way to go.

Here's the deal: I opened a pack once and found a card that paid for the entire box. But that's rare. Most of the time, opening packs is for the fun and the art of collecting rather than making money. If you love the game, open and enjoy. If you're aiming to invest, do your research first.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
