Do Old Hot Wheels contain lead?
SortyingSlag路7 months agoActually, some old Hot Wheels from before the 1990s might contain lead, especially in the paint. It was pretty common back then for toys to have lead-based paint, not just Hot Wheels. If you're a collector, it's always a good idea to handle vintage toys with care and maybe not let kids play with them without supervision.

Hard pass on letting kiddos chew on vintage Hot Wheels, folks. Lead was the secret ingredient in the 'flavor' of the 60s to 80s toys. Better safe than sorry!
Lead in old toys? Yep, including those rad Hot Wheels from back in the day. They don't make 'em like they used to, and maybe that's a good thing when it comes to health and safety. Always check and double-check if you're diving into collecting!
