Do older MTG cards count as dinosaurs?
ForetellingTable路7 months agoLol, in the world of MTG, 'dino' usually refers to actual dinosaur cards, which started stomping around in the Ixalan set. So, older cards before Ixalan wouldn't be called dinosaurs, even if they're ancient in the timeline of the game. Think of 'dino' cards as a specific creature type that you'd find in your deck!

Absolutely not. Dino cards are a specific type from the Ixalan set. Old cards are just, well, old.
From a collector's perspective, calling any old MTG card a 'dino' might get you some weird looks unless you're specifically talking about those scaly beasts from Ixalan. I've been collecting since the '90s, and believe me, categorizing is key!
