Tried it, didn't work. Fusion Cores are the way to go for power armor. Plasma Cores? Strictly ammunition in my experience.
Nah, plasma cores don't work for power armor, sorry to burst your bubble. Power armor needs Fusion Cores to run, not Plasma Cores. Plasma Cores are ammo for weapons like the Plasma Gatling gun. So keep those cores separate and don't mix 'em up!
