Yeah, pro MTG players often get free cards, but not like you might think. They don't just get a lifetime supply for reaching pro status. Pros usually get cards through sponsorships, team support, or winnings from tournaments. So, while they do land some sweet cards without hitting up the store, it's more about the perks of being in the scene and less about an official 'here's your free stuff' deal from Wizards of the Coast.

Actually, not really in the way you're hoping. Being a pro Magic The Gathering player doesn't automatically mean you get free cards just for showing up. A lot of them have to invest in their decks just like the rest of us.

I've been around the MTG tournament scene for a bit, and seeing some pros, it's clear: the real perk is exposure and sponsorship. Sure, they might snag some freebies, but it's through hard work, winning, and deals, not a free pass.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
