I tried it myself, and sadly, the PS3 guitars don't work with the PS4 system. Time for an upgrade!

In my experience, they don't work. I had to buy a new one for my PS4.

Nope, PS3 Guitar Hero guitars won't work on PS4. You'll need to snag a PS4-compatible guitar.

Unfortunately, PS3 Guitar Hero guitars aren't compatible with the PS4. You gotta get a PS4-specific one.
