Steam keys themselves don't expire, but promotional keys or keys obtained from giveaways might have expiration dates set by the developers or distributors. Always check the fine print!

Nope, Steam keys don't have an expiration date. Once you've got your key, it's good to go until you decide to use it. Just make sure you redeem it before it gets lost in the depths of your email.

Hot take: Who cares if they expire? Just use 'em when you get 'em and live on the edge.

I once had a Steam key I forgot about for like, 3 years. Found it, used it, and boom - worked like it was fresh out of the digital oven. Steam keys are forever, my friend.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
