Yep, tokens totally count as creatures in MTG if that's what they're meant to be. So, if you pop a creature token onto the battlefield, it's just like any other creature, except it isn't represented by a physical card. It can attack, block, and get zapped just like any other creature - just remember, if it goes to the graveyard, it vanishes into thin air instead of hanging around!

Actually, I find tokens super useful because they ARE considered creatures. I've won games by overwhelming opponents with an army of creature tokens. There's nothing like the look on someone's face when you turn a bunch of 1/1 saprolings into a game-ending force.

Short answer: Yes, they do. Creature tokens are treated the same as creatures that come from cards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
