Do tokens die when bounced in MTG?
Yep, tokens do 'die' when they're bounced, but not in the way you might think. In Magic The Gathering, whenever a token is returned to a player's hand or otherwise leaves the battlefield, it ceases to exist entirely. So, while they don't 'die' in the traditional sense and trigger death-related abilities, they effectively disappear from the game!

Short answer: Yes, they're gone. Tokens can't survive in a hand or anywhere else off the battlefield. Poof!
Actually, it's a bit of a misnomer to say tokens 'die' when bounced. They're removed from the game entirely, so it's more like they vanish into thin air. Had a game where my army of tokens got bounced and they just ceased to exist. RIP token army.
