Yup, tokens are just like any other creature in Magic The Gathering, so they definitely get summoning sickness. Just like creatures played from your hand, tokens can't attack or use tap abilities the turn they enter the battlefield unless they have haste. So, if you're planning a big token strategy, keep an eye out for ways to give them haste!

Short answer: Yes. All creatures, tokens included, have summoning sickness when they enter the battlefield.

Absolutely, tokens get summoning sickness. Found this out the hard way in a game last week. Tried to swing with a bunch of token creatures I just created and got a lesson in the rules of MTG. Remember, unless they've got haste, they're sitting ducks until your next turn.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
