Totally! In Magic The Gathering, when you create a token that's a copy of a creature, it copies everything about the original creature - this includes its abilities, power, toughness, and any other characteristics on the card. Ever seen a swarm of 5/5 flying dragon tokens with all the bells and whistles? Yep, that's the magic of copying!

It's like photocopying your homework with the fancy copier at your uncle's office. Everything on the original is on the copy, including the doodles in the margins. So yes, creature abilities get copied too!

Not always! It depends on what's making the token. If the effect specifically says it creates a token that's a "copy" of a creature, then yes, it gets the abilities. But if it just says to create a token that's, say, a 1/1 white Soldier, then it's just a plain token with no extra abilities.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
