Yep, they sure do! If you chop a tree down completely, it won't regrow, but if you just dig it up and leave the spot, a new tree won't magically appear there. You've gotta plant a new one! But hey, if you cut it down to a stump, it stays a stump. So, if you want more trees, start planting those saplings or fruit to get new ones.

Short answer: No, not by themselves. If you want trees back, you need to plant them. No lazy gardening here!

Trees don鈥檛 have a respawn feature like your favorite video games. You cut it, you plant it. That鈥檚 the circle of life in Animal Crossing.

Actually, I kind of like the clear spaces after chopping down trees. Makes for a nice open area to design my island. #TeamNoTrees

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
