I tried using my USB headphones on my Xbox 360, and it didn't work. I ended up getting a 3.5mm adapter, and that solved the problem.

Sorry, but USB headphones don't work directly on the Xbox 360. You'll need to get an adapter or use the proprietary Xbox headset.
