Actually, it’s a common misconception that walls should have reach because, you know, they're tall. But in MTG, unless your wall card says it has reach, those flying creatures are just zooming right over them.

Nah, walls don't have reach just 'cause they're walls. You gotta read the text on the card. If it says reach, then you're good to go. Otherwise, those flying creatures are untouchable.

Nope, walls don't automatically have reach in Magic The Gathering. Reach is a specific ability that allows creatures to block flying creatures, and it needs to be explicitly stated on the card. Walls are just creatures with defender, meaning they can't attack (unless stated otherwise), but not all of them can reach up and swat those pesky flyers out of the sky!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
