Yup, water candles definitely stack, but only in a specific way. If you're holding one and there's another placed nearby, the effects stack, increasing the enemy spawn rate more than just having one or the other. So, if you're looking to up the challenge or farm some mobs, double up on those water candles!

Actually, no, they don't stack. You can hold one and have another placed to increase spawn rates, but stacking multiple candles in your vicinity doesn't boost the effect beyond the first. So, holding one and placing one is as good as it gets.

From personal experience, holding a water candle while having others placed around definitely feels like it makes a difference. More enemies seem to come at me, which is great for grinding. Just remember, it might make things a tad too spicy if you're not prepared!
