Nah, I prefer to buy played cards - saves me a ton of money, and the cards are just gonna get played anyway. Why pay extra for near mint when they end up looking played after a few games?

For sure, near mint is the way to go! I once bought a bunch of near mint cards and they were indistinguishable from mint ones. Best decision for my deck and wallet.
