Nope, companions are invincible. They'll get knocked out in combat but will always come back ready to fight another day!
First-hand experience here, guys: your companions just faint temporarily during fights but always return to help you after the battle ends.
Nah, they won't kick the bucket. They get KO'd in battles but then they pop right back up after the dust settles.
