Do you control permanents in your graveyard in MTG?
CreatingGulf路7 months agoNope, you don't control the cards in your graveyard in Magic The Gathering. Once they hit the graveyard, they're considered out of play and not under anyone's control. However, there are plenty of spells and abilities that let you bring them back or use them in some way while they're chilling in the graveyard.

Actually, gonna throw in a twist - while you technically don't 'control' cards in your graveyard in the traditional sense, some MTG strategies heavily involve interacting with the graveyard, making it feel like an extension of your hand. So, in spirit, yes, but by the rules, no.
Short answer: no. Your graveyard is more like a waiting room where cards can't be directly controlled. But there's a bunch of ways to get them back into the game!
