Yep, you do get some coins even if you take an L in MTG Arena. The game throws you a bone so you can lick your wounds with a little reward. You won't be rolling in gold like if you'd won, but you'll get enough to feel like you're still making progress. Keep playing, and those coins will start adding up!

Actually, yes, you do get coins for losing matches in MTG Arena. It's not a lot, but it's something to help you build back up and get ready for the next round. Don't expect to get rich off losses, but it's nice to get a little something for the effort.

No, don't listen to them. You get almost nothing for losing. It's like getting a participation trophy. Focus on winning if you want the real rewards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
