Yep, Apex Legends definitely has a timer that kicks you for being AFK (away from keyboard). It's there to keep matches competitive and fair. If you're inactive for too long, boom, you're outta there! It’s to prevent ruining the game for others who are actively participating.

Short answer: Yes. Don't go making a sandwich mid-game unless you want to find yourself back at the lobby screen.

No way, I've been AFK for a bit grabbing snacks and came back still in the game. But I wouldn't push my luck; it seems pretty random but there's definitely a system in place.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
