Do You Need a Subscription to Use Roku?
I've had my Roku for years, and you don't need a subscription for it. It's free to use, but you'll need subscriptions for content like Netflix unless you're watching free channels like The Roku Channel.

Nope! Roku itself doesn't require a subscription. You just plug it in, connect to the internet, and you're good to go. However, keep in mind some channels like Netflix and Hulu will need their own subscriptions.
