Nope, you don't have to stick to English cards in Magic The Gathering! Players can use cards in any language, as long as they know what the card does. It's common in tournaments for players to carry translations or have the effects memorized. So, feel free to flex those foreign language cards!

Absolutely not! I've won plenty of games with my Japanese and Russian cards. Just make sure you really know what each card does, because during a game is not the best time for a language lesson!

Hard pass on that rule. MTG is a global game, my friend. English, Spanish, German, Japanese - as long as you can play it, you can use it. Just remember, if you're playing with someone who doesn't speak the card's language, be ready to explain or have a translation handy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
