Short answer: No. Your purchased games are linked to your PSN account, not your console's storage.

I've deleted and re-downloaded dozens of PSN games. They've always been available in my library without needing another purchase.

As long as you own it, you can delete and redownload PSN games as much as you want without paying again. Don't worry, your wallet is safe!

avatarPassingDada10 months ago

Nope! Once you've bought a game on the PlayStation Store, it's tied to your account. Just head to your library and redownload it anytime.

You absolutely DO NOT need to rebuy PSN games if they are deleted. They stay attached to your account forever.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
