I've been playing Splatoon 2 since it came out, and trust me, turning off motion controls made a world of difference for me! You just go to 'Options,' then 'Motion Control,' and flip the switch. Easy peasy!
Nope, you don't have to use motion controls in Splatoon 2! You can turn them off in the settings and use the control stick for aiming instead. It might take some getting used to, but hey, it's all about finding your own inky groove!
