Do you keep paying Echo costs in MTG?
AssoilzieingThrow路7 months agoYeah, if a creature has an echo cost, you gotta pay it during your next upkeep after the creature enters the battlefield. If you can't (or don't want to) pay the echo cost, that creature is sacrificed. So, dust off your coin purse every turn it's due or say goodbye to your creature!

Only pay echo once. After its first upkeep trigger, no more echo costs for that creature. It's like the creature's rent is due when it first shows up, but after that, it's living rent-free.
Echo cost? Just pay it once on the next turn after your creature lands on the battlefield. No need to keep paying unless you want to give away your mana for funsies.
