Do you lose more RR for surrendering in Valorant?

Yep, surrendering in Valorant can hit your RR (Ranked Rating) harder than if you tough it out and play through the match. It's like telling the game, "Look, we're not just losing, we're quitting." So the game's like, "Alright, if you insist, take this extra RR hit." My advice? Unless it's a really hopeless situation, try to stick with it and fight back. You never know when a comeback might happen!

Actually, no, surrendering does NOT automatically mean you lose more RR than playing through. It all depends on the match's current score, your performance, and other factors. If your team is getting absolutely steamrolled, sometimes surrendering might soften the RR hit a bit, as continuing could just result in an even bigger gap in score and performance. It's a bit of a tactical decision, really.

Honestly, I've surrendered a couple of times and didn't notice a huge difference in RR loss. Just don't make a habit of it.

Surrender? NO WAY. Real gamers never quit. Stick it out and fight till the last round. You'll lose more RR but gain respect!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
