Playing Fortnite for years, I can tell you a mic improves team play a ton, but it’s not required. Just use pings and text chat if you’re mic-less.

Nah, you can totally play Fortnite without a mic. It’s just a bit harder to coordinate with your squad.

You don't *need* a mic to play Fortnite, but it definitely helps with team communication. Otherwise, you're left with good ol' text chat or hoping your teammates read minds!

A mic can be useful but some people have their teammate’s volume turned off anyway. Just go with what you have!

Honestly, no mic, no problem. Just mark stuff on the map and use emotes if you feel creative.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
