Honestly, you don't NEED dice to play Magic The Gathering (MTG), but why would you skip them? They make life easier when tracking life points, counters, and so on. Plus, it's a great excuse to buy those awesome looking thematic dice sets.

Nope. Just cards. Everything else is optional but trust me, using dice makes things a lot easier.

Not strictly, but dice can be super handy for keeping track of counters, life totals, and other game elements. While you can use pen and paper or other methods, dice add a nice touch and help keep the game flowing smoothly. Plus, they look cool on the table!

I've never used dice in my MTG games. Don't see the point; cards and a good memory work fine.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
